ELAINE TURNER

Elaine Turner is a renowned fashion designer, life coach, author and entrepreneur based in Houston, Texas. A graduate of The University of Texas, Elaine has applied her creativity and business acumen to various successful ventures, including the creation of a namesake handbag, shoe and apparel collection and multiple retails outlets.

But that’s just part of her story.  She is much more than the sum of her accomplishments. Elaine is someone who cares passionately, runs on resiliency, and has creativity burning like an ember at her core.

Elaine is a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend who deeply loves the people around her. She is involved in and serves on several non-profit boards focusing on women empowerment, autism and intellectual disabilities, mental health initiatives, and breast cancer awareness.

Her robust career spans more than 30 years and is a study in creativity, entrepreneurship, risk-taking, grand success, and immense challenge.  After dissolving the Elaine Turner brand and retail concept in 2019 due to the changing retail landscape, Elaine pivoted to focus on empowering women through her passion for personal growth. In 2020, she launched an online e-course called: Know Your Worth. The course is designed to guide women in reclaiming their self-worth by building deeper self-awareness and self-compassion.

While navigating life’s challenges, Elaine realized she was happiest when designing, and in 2023, she reimagined handbags and accessories for those who crave timeless subtle luxury with the introduction of Edit by Elaine Turner, opening a retail location in Tanglewood, an upscale area of Houston. The curated collection of handbags and small leather goods are made in New York and reflect Elaine’s blend of beauty, elegance, and classicism.

TINA LORRANE

Tina has spent over thirty years as a Corporate Executive Leader in the Employee Benefits field, She has analyzed hundreds of employer’s medical utilization data, where she and her team successfully implement effective initiatives that reduce cost and increase benefits..Her greatest challenge however, is finding the solution to reduce the ever increasing utilization of anti anxiety and anti depression drugs.

After being introduced to Transformational BreathWork at an Ayahuasca Retreat in Costa Rica, Tina knew she needed to introduce this practice to as many humans as possible,

“Transformational Breathwork is one of the many ways for us to return to center, it’s a practice to help us manage the stress of grief, pain, and trauma we all experience at one time or another in our lives. BreathWork is like the ruby red slippers in the Wizard of Oz, returning home to self has been right here all along, and it’s in the power and magic of our breath. By adopting the appropriate breathwork patterns, one is able to return to calm, and to reconnect, reassess, realign and redefine one’s truth.and possibly even reset our body’s precious communication pathway, our central nervous system. If you’ve never experienced Transformational BreathWork, whether it’s with Dragonfly or another certified breathwork facilitator, I encourage you to give it a try”

Founder and Lead Facilitator at Dragonfly BreathWork

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR CRYSTALS

FIND YOUR NEXT CRYSTALS AT www.BMSHOUSTON.com

  • Cleanse your crystals with a bell, sound bowl, or smudge wand. NEVER put your crystals in water or sunlight unless you're certain it's safe.

  • Set an intention. Know what you want your crystals to do for you. Let them know this either verbally or simply through thought.

  • Keep your crystals near you as much as possible. Try carrying them in a pocket or purse, having them on your desk, or placing them under your pillow.

  • Meditate or pray with your crystals whenever possible. Take a few quiet moments to connect with their healing energy and breathe.

  • Pay attention when your crystals are near. What comes to mind, what opportunities show up, what signs appear? Through resonance, crystals activate the law of attraction to create changes in your life.

  • Place your crystals on your body near the chakras they go with while laying down and listening to music or doing a guided meditation. Do this whenever and as often as you like. Five or ten minutes is plenty of time.

  • Crystals make wonderful pain + stress relievers! If you're hurting, feeling anxious, depressed, or tired, grab your crystals for a boost. If possible, place them on the part of your body with pain.
